To get us started — here's a recap from our first discussion
Thanks everyone for a great session! Here's a summary of what we covered:
🔹 Strategy & Technology
A big theme was AI adoption and scaling without adding headcount — particularly how ERP integration supports scalability. There was strong interest in Agents, integration to various data sources, and the usability of AI actions. Auditability for AI tools also came up which led to a discussion about creating a prompt library to support governance requirements.
🔹 FP&A Plus & Dashboards
FP&A Plus discussion focused on implementation and some of the rough patches early adopters encountered during the process. This led to a broader overview of the new tools and agents (the Architect Agent) that have helped Prophix's PS Team to drastically reduce FP&A Plus implementation timelines.
Dashboards was also mentioned, and the fact that they feel clunky to manage — the group wants more flexibility to build them out. A compelling idea surfaced: using an AI agent to build dashboards, which could address both the flexibility and effort concerns.
🔹 IT Considerations
On the IT front, we discussed the importance of managing awareness and potential pushback from the IT department — a key factor to navigate as adoption grows.
