1️⃣ Model Manager (Start Here — Always)
⬜ Extend the Time Dimension to include the new fiscal year (months + quarters)
⬜ Adjust fiscal start/end dates if you’re not calendar-based
⬜ Update Time Name Sets:

⬜ Current Year Months
⬜ Current Year Quarters
⬜ Save & Publish the dimension changes
⬜ Set start/end dates on Actuals to lock historical data
⬜ Confirm changes cascade correctly across shared cubes

⬜ Extend exchange rate tables for the new year
⬜ Use name sets in rate data views (not hard-coded years)
⬜ Sanity-check rate periods by converting name sets to resulting members
3️⃣ Templates & Reports
⬜ Replace hard-coded time members with name sets
⬜ Check rows, columns and pages for hard-coded dates
⬜ Save templates after validation
⬜ Reuse templates — rebuild only if reporting logic changed

⬜ Confirm Remove Data runs before imports
⬜ Update Remove Data steps to use current-year name sets
⬜ Verify Import start/end dates target the correct year
⬜ Update any time mapping tables (ERP ↔ Prophix) if used
⬜ Run Update Data after imports

⬜ Validate dashboard data views point to current-year data
⬜ Ensure data views use name sets
⬜ Spot-check all dashboard tiles
⬜ Assign dashboards to new users or groups as needed
